Project Manager – Fit-Out & Refurbishment (Contract | Up to 6 Months) Location: Sydney

Rate: Competitive daily/hourly rate (depending on experience)
About Us We’re a small but growing commercial builder specialising in fit-out, refurbishment, and light construction projects across [insert area/region]. Our focus is on delivering high-quality results with a personal touch — working closely with clients, consultants, and trades to bring spaces to life.
As our project workload increases, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis for up to 6 months, helping us deliver a range of exciting projects from start to finish.
The Role Reporting directly to the Director, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple fit-out and refurb projects — ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to our quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of project delivery — planning, procurement, and execution
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Preparing and tracking programs, budgets, and progress reports
• Managing client relationships and project communication
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

About You You’re a hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out and refurbishment. You enjoy being close to the projects, can multitask effectively, and thrive in a small, fast-paced team environment.
You’ll bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in project management within commercial fit-out or refurb sectors
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
• Solid understanding of construction processes, contracts, and documentation
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude
• Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications (preferred but not essential)
