Project Manager

Job Title: IT Project Manager-HCM Project Location: Czech Republic Duration: 12-months contract Working Mode: Fully Remote Description: Project Manager is to lead a crucial HCM project involving the integration and separation of two companies transitioning into independent legal entities. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management, risk management, and the ability to navigate competing priorities while effectively managing an external workforce. Key responsibilities: Project Leadership: * Lead and manage the HCM project, ensuring its successful delivery within the defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. * Develop and maintain the project plan, including tasks, dependencies, and milestones, utilizing project management methodologies. Stakeholder Management: * Effectively manage stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and senior management, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. * Conduct regular stakeholder meetings, provide status updates, and proactively address any concerns or issues. Risk Management: * Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively developing contingency plans to minimize potential disruptions. * Monitor and manage project risks, escalating critical issues to senior management as required. Budget and Resource Management: * Manage the project budget, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation. * Monitor project expenses, track variances, and provide regular financial reports. Communication: * Establish and maintain clear and effective communication channels with all project stakeholders. * Prepare and present project reports, updates, and presentations to various audiences, including senior management. Deliverables: * Successful implementation of the HCM project, including the integration and separation of the two companies' HCM systems. * Project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, status reports, and other relevant documents. * Stakeholder satisfaction with project outcomes and communication. * Adherence to project budget and schedule. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Project Manager, leading complex IT projects, with a focus on HCM projects. * Strong understanding of HCM systems, preferably Workday. * Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies. * Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall. * Experience in managing external vendors and contractors. * Experience in working in a fully remote environment. * Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills: * PMP certification is a plus.
