Project Leader

As Project Leader (Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels) you are responsible for the overall leadership of a construction project (rough construction and finishing), both in terms of execution and budget. For daily operational implementation, you can rely on an enthusiastic site team.

As a project leader, you are responsible for:

• Fully completing assigned projects with budgets of 10 million euros or more.
• Organizing, planning, and coordinating a project in terms of technology, administration, and budget.
  • Budget management is also part of your task package. You will discuss expenses with the client and site leaders to approve them.
  • Working together with site leaders and subcontractors. Discussing budgets and which subcontractor will be used for this. The subcontractor will then provide a plan and follow up on whether they are sticking to it.
  • Requesting the right number of personnel in consultation with site leaders.
• FOLLOWING environmental regulations.
• Maintaining relationships with the client and other involved parties.
  • Keeping the client informed about the progress.
• PERMANENTLY following up on site representatives, intervening in and adjusting technical problems.
• Directing and motivating the team by making clear agreements and setting practical rules.
• SUPPORTING site leaders in organizing daily activities by monitoring inter-communication and communication, setting priorities, and explaining the decisions made.
• You handle the aftercare of your project.
