Project Leader Infrastructure

In this role, you are the linchpin of our project team. No two days are the same, and you ensure that everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You dive into the tender dossier (specifications, plans, etc.) and extract what is needed to kick off the project successfully. Together with the relevant parties, you establish the project planning and workflow. After the kick-off, you further develop the technical and administrative preparations in collaboration with the estimating team and project team. You monitor progress and budget, and you are the first point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues. You provide clarity in the process, know how to manage expectations, and act as a coach for the project team. Furthermore, you continuously look for ways to improve the process. In short: you are the director of the project and you make sure that the project is delivered within the set time, budget, and quality requirements. What are you going to do? * Analyzing tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings and regulations, and translating them into clear instructions for the project team. * Drawing up and monitoring project plans, milestones, and budgets. * Managing and coordinating the project team, including internal colleagues and external suppliers. * Maintaining contact with clients and acting as the point of contact for questions and feedback. * Identifying and resolving potential problems and risks during the project. * Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safety requirements. * Keeping track of the progress and making adjustments where necessary. * Providing regular reports on the status of the project and the associated costs. * Optimizing work processes and looking for opportunities for improvement. What are we looking for? * Completed HBO education, preferably in a technical direction. * Several years of experience in a similar role in infrastructure. * Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and safety requirements. * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Organizational and planning skills. * Problem-solving ability. * Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
