We are looking for an engaged Project Leader Biotechnology Engineering (m/w/d) for our client, a globally leading consulting and engineering company with over 25 years of experience and more than 350 specialists worldwide.

Your tasks:

• Team leadership and personnel development of assigned experts in project development
• Strategic customer service and active participation in acquiring new projects
• Offer preparation and commercial project evaluation for international clients
• Project management of complex biotechnology facilities in highly regulated environments (pharma, API production, fine chemistry)
• Self-responsible processing of assigned work packages with high technical autonomy
• Technical project planning including calculation and execution of upstream-, downstream- and biocatalysis projects
• Concept development and creation of feasibility studies for international clients
• Engineering activities such as R&I schema preparation and apparatus layout design
• Schedule coordination with contractors and suppliers as technical project leader

Your profile:

• Fundamental professional experience of at least 5 years in the planning of facilities in the biotechnology sector
• Leadership skills with proven experience in leading project teams
• University degree (MSc., Dipl.-Ing.) in bio- or chemical process engineering with a focus on engineering
• Excellent communication skills and team player with entrepreneurial thinking
• GMP expertise and knowledge of biosafety regulations in the pharmaceutical environment
• Qualification knowledge in the area of facility validation and qualification
• Excellence in German and English (spoken and written)
• Travel readiness for national and international projects (mainly EU region)
