Job Description: Project Head – Renewable Energy (Solar) Type: Full-time Job Purpose The Project Head will lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale, utility-scale wind and solar projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and high Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle—from planning, land acquisition, and permitting to EPC oversight and commissioning. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Management: Oversight of all project activities, including planning, execution, and close-out phases; Ensure timely delivery within budget and high QHSE standards; Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets; Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning; Identify and mitigate risks; Manage stakeholder expectations. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly solar and wind power; Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices; Understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred; Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar; Minimum 8 years of experience in renewable energy project development, construction, or operations; Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
