Project Engineer - Marine Construction

We are working with a tier one main contractor on a complex marine project. With extensive near shore marine works involved piling and quay walls they are looking for a project engineer to join the team.

Within the Technical Office, the project engineer is responsible for coordinating and managing technical aspects of construction projects, such as preparing technical documentation, resolving design queries with consultants, overseeing shop drawings and method statements, and supporting the management of construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. The role requires a strong engineering background and involves significant interaction with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure the successful technical delivery of complex projects.

Due to the complex nature of the project our client is looking for someone with the following key attributes.

• Engineering background (with relevant qualifications)
• Marine construction experience
• Main contractor background
• Portuguese and English language
