Project Engineer Mechanical Engineering

As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in the entire process of mechanical engineering and industrial installations, from concept to execution. Your tasks will include:

• Managing and following up on technical projects within engineering.
• Carrying out on-site measurements at the client's premises, sometimes on location domestically or internationally.
• Designing and developing technical concepts and solutions.
• Preparing technical documentation such as plans, schematics, calculations, and manuals.
• Collaborating with and supporting the installation and engineering team during commissioning and handover.
• Providing technical input to various departments and contributing to innovation and optimization.
• Striving for continuous improvement and ensuring safety and quality.

Our ideal candidate for Project Engineer Mechanical Engineering recognizes themselves in the following profile:

• Master's degree in Industrial Sciences, Electromechanics, or a similar technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical (industrial) environment, preferably within mechanical engineering or industrial systems.
• Broad technical knowledge: mechanical, electrical, and automation.
• Works in a structured manner, is hands-on, and possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Practical mindset with attention to detail and quality.
• Proactive, independent, and a true team player.
• Good communication in Dutch is a must; English is expected, French is an extra asset.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ...) is required. Affinity with automation (PLC, HMI), electrical systems, and knowledge of standards and safety guidelines are strong advantages.
• Flexible and willing to travel occasionally for on-site project work.
