AxL Spa – Bari Business Unit – High Profile Division, is researching and selecting for a client company operating in the field of renewable energies, an EPC contractor specialized in the development, design, construction, and management of large-scale photovoltaic plants, a:

Project Engineer – Utility Scale Photovoltaic Plants

The person will become part of the Engineering & Operations team and will be involved in technical activities related to the design, implementation, and management of utility-scale photovoltaic plants.

The desired candidate will play a key role in technical support for the development, construction, and commissioning phases of the plants, liaising with the project team, suppliers, subcontractors, and external engineering firms.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analysis, review, and preparation of technical supply specifications and contracts related to electrical installations, assembly, and testing of renewable energy plants, mainly photovoltaic;
• Development and review of technical project documentation (electrical diagrams, bills of quantities, energy production models, and PVsyst reports);
• Definition and verification of testing and commissioning procedures and preparation of the relevant technical documentation;
• Execution of technical site visits to construction sites and support to the Construction Team in verifying construction activities;
• Coordination of external engineering firms and subcontractors involved in technical activities;
• Support in managing technical and electrical project issues, in collaboration with the site team, engineering, suppliers, and customers;
• Support for the tender phase and preparation of technical bids for new EPC contracts;
• Collaboration in technical negotiation activities with clients, suppliers, and partners.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Energy Engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction and/or technical management of large-scale photovoltaic plants (utility scale); an essential requirement for the position;
• Experience in the design and construction of photovoltaic plants exceeding 1 MWp and their grid connection;
• Excellent knowledge of Medium and High Voltage grid infrastructures;
• Knowledge of the electrical characteristics of photovoltaic plants and relevant national and international technical standards;
• Ability to read and develop electrical diagrams and technical documentation;
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and photovoltaic plant modeling and simulation software (PVsyst);
• Good knowledge of main IT tools (Office Package);
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• Availability for frequent business trips within the national territory.

We offer:

• Direct hiring with a permanent contract.
• The salary level will be commensurate with the experience gained, with an indicative range of Annual Gross Salary (RAL) between €45,000 and €60,000.
• Professionals interested in a collaboration under a VAT regime (Partita IVA) will also be considered.
