Project Engineer

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy based in Johannesburg. This role is perfect for an engineer looking to advance their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects through all phases, from concept to completion
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
• Prepare project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and reports
• Conduct design and feasibility studies to assess project viability
• Provide technical input and advice to project teams as needed
• Oversee site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Project Engineer, Project Technician, or Project Technologist registration with ECSA
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant project engineering experience
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in engineering design software and project management tools
• Ability to work effectively in a team and lead initiatives
• Experience in the consulting engineering sector will be advantageous
