Your New Company

Hays Solutions, a company within the Hays group, listed on the London Stock Exchange, provides specialized consulting services in the Engineering and Information Technology sectors.

On behalf of a client operating in the industrial automation sector, we are looking for a Project Engineer with a technical background in industrial automation.

Your New Role

• Operationally, economically, and temporally manage projects related to SCADA/HMI, DCS, PLC, remote control, and safety systems.
• Plan project activities using WBS, Gantt, and milestones, coordinating the technical resources involved.
• Liaise with the client for the collection of technical requirements, monitoring work progress, and managing variations and change orders.
• Monitor budgets, costs, margins, and forecasts of projects.
• Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to ensure the proper progress of projects.
• Supervise FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities at the client's site.
• Prepare periodic reports for Operational Management and the Area Manager, highlighting progress status and critical issues.

What You Need to Succeed

• At least 3 years of experience in project management in industrial automation, system integration, electrical/instrumental plant engineering, or EPC contexts.
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PMI/PMBOK or equivalent).
• Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, DCS, and PLC technologies (Siemens, Schneider, HIMA, AVEVA, or equivalent).

Education / Experience / Certifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science Engineering, or related disciplines; technical diplomas with equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Consolidated experience in managing complex industrial projects.
• Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or similar will be a plus.
• Knowledge of standards IEC 61439, IEC 61511, IEC 62443, Machinery Directive, and ATEX is considered preferential.

• Contract: permanent, CCNL Commercio (National Collective Labour Agreement for Commerce);
• Work location: Trezzano sul Naviglio (MI).
• Work mode: hybrid (3/5) with availability for business trips to clients.
