As Project Engineer Geotechnek & Boringen, you will work on the study, preparation, and execution of horizontal drilling for cable and pipeline projects. You ensure that our drilling is safe, technically sound, and well-thought-out.

• Collecting, interpreting, and translating soil and subsoil data (soundings, drillings, geophysical data, laboratory tests) into design and execution parameters.
• Evaluating how soil formation and groundwater affect the boreability, stability, and risks during HDD.
• Developing drilling routes, bend controls, and risk analyses to support design studies.
• Monitoring drilling parameters (pressure, flow, coupling, swab loss...) and timely adjusting to prevent deviations, instability, or damage
• Continuously comparing and interpreting theoretical design data versus actual drilling results to optimize insights and refine future designs.
• Formulating execution advice: selecting suitable installations, correct drill bits, tools, and flushing agents based on the subsoil.
• Preparing technical reports, methods, and recommendations for project and construction teams.
• Intensive collaboration and coordination with designers, project and construction leaders, utility managers, material suppliers, and study bureaus.
• Providing technical support during execution, including thinking ahead and adjusting in case of challenges such as instability, swab loss, obstacles, or unexpected soil reactions.
