Project Engineer

Job description

Project Engineer directs the activities of a technical team to meet site goals and objectives. Provides technical guidance and leadership for assigned projects within the engineering organization. Manages and provides status of engineering projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses engineering project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical oversight and assistance to other engineers and teams as needed. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Develops and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Conducts site visits to monitor progress and provide feedback. Maintains accurate records of project activities, budgets, and schedules. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Provides technical support and guidance to other departments as needed. Participates in the development of project proposals and budget requests. Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams. Conducts root cause analysis for issues and develops corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintains a high level of technical knowledge and stays current with industry trends and best practices.
