Project Engineer

About the role: As Project Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and delivering major civil projects across Auckland. You’ll support the project management team by providing technical expertise, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans • Coordinating and controlling project activities, including procurement, logistics, and construction • Collaborating with the project management team to identify and mitigate risks, and develop mitigation strategies • Providing technical support to project teams, including design reviews, site inspections, and quality control • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers • Participating in project meetings, including progress updates, status reports, and issue resolution discussions • Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including documentation, reporting, and data analysis • Providing training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies.
