Project Cost Engineer - Cockpit

Description The Project Cost Engineer (PCE) will be responsible to develop technical variable and tooling costs for “Interior” components and systems using activity-based costing methodologies while working from BOM (Bill of Materials), drawings and/or samples. The selected candidate provides subject matter expertise to support engineering and purchasing at working levels and to executive leadership through all development phases. The Engineer must be curious, persistent and innovative. The Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates for new product introductions, design changes, and production ramp-ups. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The PCE must be able to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and cost reduction initiatives across the organization.
