With our experience in water protection, we keep waterways open and widen rivers so that the water can flow freely.

We always work with care for nature. As a Project Coordinator at Boskalis Nederland, you can be part of such a project. A nice example of our projects are the Markermeerdijken, Meanderende Maas, the Dijkversterking Zwolle-Olst or the creation of a new island near Amsterdam for the expansion of the IJburg neighborhood. But think also about a project like the Markerwadden, where we realized new islands with material from the Markermeer in commission from Natuurmonumenten and Rijkswaterstaat.

What you will do as a Project Coordinator within Rivers & Dikes:

• Evaluating requirements of clients and comparing work methods to ensure tenders and projects are executed according to specifications.
• Reviewing part of a design, testing feasibility, and creating and presenting a trade-off matrix.
• Preparing ground flow plans, execution, and quality plans.
• Requesting bids from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluating them.

• Advising and assisting in the execution of projects, usually on location, and signaling problems and opportunities regarding the progress of the project.

What you bring

• You have at least a completed MBO education in civil engineering.
• You have at least 1 year of work experience as a project engineer or coordinator.
• You have experience with large-scale excavation, dredging, or dike construction.
• Good command of the Dutch language in word and writing.
