Job description

Project Coordinator Electrical Construction

We are recruiting a Project Coordinator to join a well-established contractor specializing in commercial and industrial electrical projects. This role is ideal for an organized and motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced construction environments and enjoys working closely with project managers, field supervisors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple electrical construction projects.
  • Assist with scheduling, document control, RFIs, submittals, and change order management.
  • Track project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of project requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and company policies across all assigned projects.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a project coordination or similar role in construction (electrical experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (experience with NetSuite/Accubid considered an asset).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field considered an asset.
