Project Controls Specialist

Forbes Bros Ltd. is currently seeking a qualified Project Controls Specialist (full-time, permanent) to join support on various projects throughout Canada. This position will be a hybrid position requiring frequent inter-provincial travel. The Project Controls Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that project operational activities, undertaken or proposed by Forbes Bros, are aligned with the project schedule, costs, and scope of work. They will support the Project Director with portfolio management, project planning, and project execution. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project controls principles, including Earned Value Management (EVM), and be able to apply this knowledge to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Controls Specialist will also be responsible for developing and maintaining project controls procedures, templates, and reports, as well as providing training and support to project teams.
