Project / Construction / Contracts Manager

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Project / Construction / Contracts Manager to join their operations team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skill set within the sports facilities and construction industry, along with exceptional management, supervision, and planning abilities. The role demands attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset, and a proven track record in multi-project implementation and contractual experience with JBCC, GCC, and NEC. A background in concrete and surfacing, including synthetic grass, is a prerequisite. This position will oversee project lifecycles, from design to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from design to completion. * Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. * Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. * Review and approve project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Oversee and manage subcontractors and suppliers. * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations. * Prepare and submit project status reports. * Manage and resolve any project-related issues. * Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and specifications. * Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. * Prepare and manage project budgets. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes. * Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. * Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry. * Proven experience in the construction of sports facilities. * Strong technical knowledge of concrete and surfacing, including synthetic grass. * In-depth knowledge of contractual procedures and experience with JBCC, GCC, and NEC. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, etc.). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's license.
