Project Architect

As a hands-on project architect at our renowned Belgian architecture firm, you’ll lead a team of architects daily, collaborating closely on a variety of projects, from small-scale designs to large-scale developments. Your role is pivotal in engaging with clients and refining designs based on their preferences and feedback. You’ll kick off your day with an inspiring brainstorming session with your team, blending creativity and leadership to develop innovative, practical designs. Your expertise in architectural design, project management, and client communication will be key to the success of our projects. **Responsibilities:** * Lead and manage architectural projects from inception to completion. * Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision. * Develop and refine architectural designs, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to building codes. * Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents. * Manage project budgets and timelines. * Coordinate with other consultants, such as structural engineers and MEP engineers. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects. * Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure quality control. **Requirements:** * Master's degree in Architecture. * Registered Architect in Belgium or eligible for registration. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design and project management. * Proven ability to lead and manage architectural teams. * Strong design skills and a thorough understanding of building codes and regulations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. * Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with a good command of English. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects. * Collaborative and supportive work environment. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * The chance to make a significant impact on the built environment.
