Job Description
Join our team as a Building Automation Designer – BMS and contribute to the development of complex projects for building automation, monitoring, and control, integrated with HVAC and electrical systems, for civil, industrial, and infrastructure constructions, from concept to execution documentation.

The role offers you the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, contribute to defining efficient and well-integrated technical solutions, and support projects throughout their implementation and commissioning phases.

Responsibilities

• Develops technical documentation for BMS automation systems, according to project requirements and design phases.
• Designs solutions for monitoring and controlling HVAC, electrical systems, and other building technical equipment.
• Defines the BMS system architecture, automation equipment, controllers, sensors, actuators, and interfaces between systems.
• Creates automation schematics, principle schematics, I/O Lists, equipment lists, execution details, and other technical drawings, using specific design software.
• Contributes to defining control logic and sequences for equipment and systems integrated into the BMS.
• Establishes interfaces and communication requirements between systems and equipment, using protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX, or other project-specific protocols.
• Analyzes and correlates BMS, HVAC, and strong current electrical installation documentation to define a correct integrated solution.
• Prepares quantity lists, equipment lists, technical specifications, and supporting documents necessary for design and execution.
• Analyzes beneficiary requirements and base documentation to establish the optimal technical and functional solution.
• Collaborates with HVAC, electrical installations, security, fire protection, IT, architecture teams, and other specialties involved in the project.
• Participates in technical meetings and coordination discussions with beneficiaries and suppliers.
• Provides technical support during execution and commissioning and contributes to clarifying issues that arise on site.
• Updates project documentation based on implementation changes.
• Participates, when necessary, in site visits, technical checks, and determinant phases.
• Respects delivery deadlines and quality standards assumed within the projects.

Ideal Candidate

Education and Experience

• Completed university studies in automation, electrical engineering, power engineering, electrotechnics, construction installations, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical design, with relevant experience in BMS / building automation.
• Experience in designing automation, monitoring, and control systems for HVAC installations and building technical equipment.
• Solid knowledge of strong current electrical installations, including low, medium, and high voltage systems.
• Ability to understand and correlate electrical installations, HVAC, and BMS systems into an integrated technical solution.
• Knowledge of BMS architectures, automation schematics, I/O Lists, control logic, and sequences.
• Good knowledge of relevant design norms and standards.
• Experience in using design software such as AutoCAD / Revit / Eplan.
• Ability to draft clear, complete, and well-structured technical documentation.
• ANRE authorization minimum IIA is an advantage.
• English language – advanced level.
