Andres Industries AG is an armaments company and manufacturer of high-quality military thermal imaging devices, headquartered in Berlin. Our products are used in security-critical applications and are utilized worldwide by authorities and armed forces. At the same time, we also develop and produce systems for civilian application areas and collaborate with international partner companies.

At our location in Weißenseer Weg, we operate a modern campus with relaxation rooms, a fitness area including showers, and an open campus kitchen.

To strengthen our development department, we are looking for a Programmer / Computer Scientist (m/f/d) in full-time, starting immediately. You will work on the development of embedded software and hardware-related systems for high-precision thermal imaging technology.

Tasks

• You will support the development of embedded systems by programming microcontrollers (C)

• You will participate in software development for ARM Cortex-based systems

• You will assist with the development and integration of FPGA-based components (especially in the area of image and signal processing)

• You will work on the further development of software and system architectures for thermal imaging devices

• You will accompany technical projects in cooperation with external partners and institutes

• You will create and maintain technical documentation throughout the entire development process

• You have experience in embedded software development (especially C on microcontrollers)

• You have basic knowledge or practical experience with ARM Cortex systems

• Experience in FPGA development is an advantage (especially in the area of signal/image processing)

• Knowledge in video or image data processing is desirable

• You work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner

• You have good communication and teamwork skills

• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (at least C1)
