Programmer / Automation Technician
Job description
You want more than just writing code?
You don't want to spend the whole day in front of a screen and always do the same tasks? You want to develop software that controls real machines, brings customers closer together, and works in practice?
Then you're exactly right with us.
We are looking for people who love technical challenges, enjoy developing solutions, and have fun shaping innovative projects.
Tasks
This is what awaits you at our company
We are a family-owned business from Bretzfeld and have been developing individual solutions for industry and commerce for over 60 years. In addition to our classic electrical engineering department, we continuously develop our own energy management system GebaFactor®.
No standstill exists with us. Together with partners from research and development, we work on new technologies, automation solutions, and intelligent systems for our customers.
We rely on honesty, self-responsibility, and a team that supports each other.
Your tasks
- Programming and commissioning of automation solutions
- Development and connection of various bus systems and communication protocols
- Networking machines and facilities
- Creation of hardware and software concepts
- Integration of new customers into our GebaFactor® system
- Analysis and troubleshooting of errors in hardware and software
- Support for commissioning and occasional service visits to customers
- Collaboration with our electronics engineers, designers, and project managers
No project is like the other – exactly that makes working at our company so varied.
Qualification
This brings you with
- Vocational training or studies in the field of automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, technical training with corresponding programming experience
- Knowledge in the field of automation technology or industrial communication
- Interest in new technologies and complex technical relationships
- Self-directed and structured working style
- Class B driver's license
We value what you can do more than the degree on your resume.
This sets you apart
We are looking for people who are curious.
People who enjoy learning about new topics and don't give up when a solution doesn't work at first try.
If you like to think, take responsibility, and approach challenges openly, you fit in perfectly with us.
Benefits
This is what we offer you
- Fascinating projects in the field of industry and automation
- Participation in our own energy management system GebaFactor®
- Modern hardware and software
- Variety of tasks instead of monotonous programming
- Direct contact with customers and real applications
- A family-like team with short decision-making paths
- In-depth training
- Individual opportunities for further education and development
- Long-term perspective in an innovative company
- Participation in future topics such as digitalization, automation, and intelligent energy management
