Job Description Programmer Analyst III - MES 4.0 Development Job Summary As a Programmer Analyst III at Jabil, Inc., you will be a key contributor to the development, implementation, and support of our next-generation Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES 4.0). You will leverage your expertise in software development and manufacturing processes to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that drive operational excellence across our global facilities. Job Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain MES 4.0 applications and related systems. * Collaborate with business stakeholders, manufacturing engineers, and other IT teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into technical specifications. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in relevant programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, SQL). * Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software quality and reliability. * Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes and best practices. * Provide technical support and training to end-users. * Stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends related to MES, manufacturing, and software development. * Assist in the deployment and maintenance of MES 4.0 systems in a global manufacturing environment. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including security protocols and change management processes. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on manufacturing execution systems or related applications. * Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL. * Experience with MES systems (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk, Apriso, etc.) is highly desirable. * Experience with manufacturing processes and related technologies (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, ERP systems) is a plus. * Experience with database design and development. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). * Experience with DevOps practices is a plus.
