Job description
Job Description The Ops Development & Expansion team is responsible for the strategic setup and enhancement of future and existing fulfilment centers. The team ensures seamless integration of new centers into the supply chain while driving operational improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. By focusing on long-term development and performance optimization, the team implements enhancements without interfering with daily operational execution, supporting overall business objectives. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing strategic plans for the setup and enhancement of future and existing fulfilment centers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new centres into the supply chain, driving operational improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. • Analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements without interfering with daily operational execution. • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including centre managers, operations teams, and other key partners. • Providing guidance and support to centre managers and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes and procedures. • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to the setup and enhancement of future and existing fulfilment centres. • Developing and maintaining effective communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, timelines, and key milestones. • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Providing coaching and training to centre managers and operations teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully implement new processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess: • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, business administration). • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or function, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. • Proven project management skills, with experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and projects. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines. • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues. • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes.
