Job Description Programme Leader - Design Location: Auckland / Wellington / Christchurch Full-Time | Fixed-Term | Yoobee NZ About the role This is a 6-month fixed term role, ideally based out of one of our Yoobee Campuses (Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch), however for the right candidates we can explore fully remote options from anywhere in NZ. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Programme Leader – Design to join the Creative Industries Faculty at Yoobee Colleges. Reporting to the Head of Faculty, you will be responsible for leading a team of design tutors and supporting the development of our design programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the creative industries sector in New Zealand. Key responsibilities include: • Leading and managing a team of design tutors, providing guidance and support as needed • Developing and implementing programme curriculum and assessments • Collaborating with other faculty members to ensure programme coherence and consistency • Providing pastoral care and mentoring for students • Building relationships with industry partners and stakeholders • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments and applying this knowledge to programme development. What we're looking for: • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. design, education) • Significant experience in leading and managing teams, preferably in the creative industries sector • Strong understanding of design principles and practices • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment • A passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to student success.
