SAP ABAP Programmer - Bucharest, Bacau

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Programmer to contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the company's SAP system.

For us, the role of SAP ABAP Programmer means more than just writing code based on a ticket. We want a colleague who will be part of the team that improves the company's SAP system by understanding the processes behind the developments and building solid and sustainable solutions. We are looking for a developer oriented towards the impact of the developed functionalities and who wishes to see the result of their work in the company's current activities.

The role is focused on the development, optimization, and maintenance of ABAP objects in the company's SAP system and on close collaboration with functional teams.

We want you to have:

• completed higher education studies;
• relevant experience in the role of SAP ABAP Developer / SAP ABAP Programmer;
• solid ABAP programming knowledge: Reports, ALV, Module Pool, BAPI, BAdI, Enhancements;
• experience with Data Dictionary, debugging, and performance optimization;
• knowledge of OO ABAP (object-oriented programming);
• experience with interfaces and integrations: IDoc/ALE, RFC, Proxy, or EDI;
• knowledge of how ABAP developments integrate with functional modules such as MM, FI, CO, and SD;
• good analytical, documentation, and communication skills with functional SAP consultants;
• experience with S/4HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori/OData, or RAP is an advantage.

Together with the team, you will be responsible for:

• developing, testing, and maintaining ABAP objects based on functional specifications;
• building reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom developments;
• preparing technical specifications and development documentation;
• debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimizations;
• managing incidents, change requests, and user requests;
• maintaining collaboration with functional consultants, key users, and local and international IT teams;
• integration testing, non-regression testing, and go-live support activities;
• improving and adapting the SAP system to the company's needs.
