Programmer Middle/Senior - Bucharest

We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues for the position of Programmer Middle/Senior - Bucharest.

We develop and maintain software applications and solutions that support important organizational processes and operations, in a complex IT ecosystem where quality, stability, and continuous evolution are essential.

We expect you to have:

• University degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybernetics, or Automation and Computers.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate [and Spring Security].
• Advanced notions of SQL with [PostgreSQL/Oracle/MS SQL].
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST API.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, and testing practices, including JUnit 5 and Mockito.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD notions.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to Bucharest.

An advantage would be:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Testcontainers.
• Basic knowledge of observability concepts: logging, monitoring, and tracing.
• Front-end knowledge, such as Angular or React, for a full-stack role.
• Advanced notions of Kotlin.
• Advanced notions of PHP.
• Experience in the retail/e-commerce sector or in developing enterprise systems.

Along with the team, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing scalable and resilient Spring Boot microservices.
• Modeling and optimizing REST APIs and database schemas.
• Defining architecture and code standards.
• Writing unit and integration tests and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Performing code reviews and mentoring colleagues.
