Programmer Middle/Senior - Bucharest

We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues for the position of Programmer Middle/Senior - Bucharest.

We want you to have:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybernetics, or Automation and Computer Science
• Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate [and Spring Security]
• Advanced notions of SQL with [PostgreSQL/Oracle/MS SQL]
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST API
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, and testing practices, including JUnit 5 and Mockito
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD notions
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Advanced English language skills
• Residence in or availability to relocate to Bucharest.

An advantage would be:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development
• Experience with messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Testcontainers
• Basic knowledge of observability concepts: logging, monitoring, and tracing
• Front-end knowledge, such as Angular or React, for a full-stack role
• Advanced notions of Kotlin
• Advanced notions of PHP
• Experience in the retail/e-commerce sector or in the development of enterprise systems.

Along with the team, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing scalable and resilient Spring Boot microservices
• Modeling and optimizing REST APIs and database schemas
• Defining architecture and coding standards
• Writing unit and integration tests and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Performing code reviews and mentoring colleagues.
