Junior Programmer - Bucharest

We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues for the position of Junior Programmer - Bucharest.

We are a top organization in Romania, with an extensive and distributed IT architecture, which supports large-scale operations. We develop and maintain dedicated software applications and solutions for our own business ecosystem, in an enterprise environment where a junior programmer can learn, develop, and contribute to projects with real impact on the organization.

We want you to have:

Higher education (ongoing or completed), in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybernetics, or Automation and Computer Engineering

• Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot and object-oriented programming
• Notions of relational databases and SQL
• Basic knowledge of Git, REST API, Docker
• A genuine desire to learn and work in a team
• Knowledge of technical English, sufficient for reading documentation
• Residence in Bucharest or availability to relocate to Bucharest.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Notions of Kotlin
• Notions of PHP
• Notions of REST API
• Notions of automated testing, including JUnit.

Alongside the team, you will be responsible for:

• Writing, testing, and documenting code, under the guidance of senior colleagues (Laravel / Symfony or other modern frameworks)
• Developing functionalities in enterprise applications
• Participating in code reviews and applying received feedback
• Resolving bugs and tasks of small to medium complexity.
