We are hiring Full Stack Programmers (Frontend & Backend)

Rodbun is hiring for the Braila-Galati area office. The work is performed at the office.

We are looking for programmers with experience in web application development, both on the frontend and backend (server-side), who master native JavaScript and PHP, without reliance on frameworks.

We want to combine solid programming foundations with a modern way of working, where AI helps you build, test, and solve problems. You understand the code, make technical decisions, and are accountable for the delivered result.

Technical Requirements

• Native JavaScript (Vanilla JS): solid programming knowledge without frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular

• Native PHP (Pure PHP): backend development without reliance on frameworks like Laravel or Symfony

• HTML5 and CSS3

• MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) databases

• Development and integration of REST APIs

• SQL knowledge, query optimization, and database work

Programming with AI: how we want to work

We want colleagues who use AI in their daily development, not just for questions or copying code snippets. It matters that you can turn a requirement into a verified functionality, using the right tools:

• Practical experience with at least one tool like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or an equivalent solution

• Ability to break down a requirement into clear steps, provide the AI agent with the necessary context, and verify its results

• Using AI for implementation, debugging, code improvement, writing tests, and documentation

• Understanding, explaining, and correcting generated code, even when the AI's proposed solution is incorrect

• Working with Git, reviewing changes, and testing functionalities before delivery

• Responsible use of AI tools, protecting confidential data, passwords, and access keys

• Openness to new tools and methods, without dependence on a single provider or a single way of working

You don't need to know all the listed tools. We are interested in you practically mastering one of them and being able to learn and evaluate others.

Is an advantage

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and integration of AI solutions into software applications

• Experience in using AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)

• Experience in developing AI-based automations and functionalities

• Knowledge of Linux server administration and configuration

• Practical experience in developing web applications from scratch

• In-depth understanding of JavaScript and PHP languages, not just using libraries or frameworks

• Ability to develop complete functionalities, both frontend and backend

• Clean, efficient, secure, and easy-to-maintain code

• Ability to work independently, but also in a team

• Logical thinking, initiative, and attention to detail

• Ability to verify a solution, identify its limitations, and report problems, whether it was written manually or with AI assistance

Important: We are looking for programmers who understand and master native programming in JavaScript and PHP. Experience with frameworks is welcome, but it is not a substitute for solid knowledge of the foundational languages.

The same principle applies to AI: it does not replace the understanding of programming, but should enhance it. We are looking for people who know how to build together with AI, but also recognize when AI makes mistakes.
