Program Manager
Melaleuca Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager to support the successful delivery of community-focused programs and contribute to positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders. This full-time position requires a highly organised individual with strong project management, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.


About the Role
The Program Manager will coordinate and support the implementation of service delivery programs across Melaleuca Australia. You will oversee program operations, ensure compliance with funding requirements and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead program teams, monitor staff performance and wellbeing, and implement systems to ensure KPIs and contractual requirements are achieved.
• Develop and manage program plans and budgets in line with organisational priorities and delegated authority.
• Collect, analyse, and report data on program outcomes, including conducting internal audits and maintaining service delivery databases.
• Prepare and review submissions, reports, and compliance documentation for executive management, government agencies, and funding partners.
• Prepare program reports for funding bodies and contribute to organisational reporting cycles.
• Resolve operational issues and risks using structured problem-solving and program management tools such as KPI tracking spreadsheets, timelines, work plans, and risk matrices.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with government agencies, community organisations, and contractors.
• Develop strategic networks with sector partners and industry groups to support program objectives.
• Represent Melaleuca Australia in inter-agency meetings, collaborative forums and partnership discussions.

Selection Criteria: Skills & Experience Required
1. Demonstrated experience in program, project or service management within community services, not-for-profit, government, or a similar environment.
2. Strong analytical skills, with experience in monitoring performance data and preparing high-quality reports.
3. Proven ability to manage budgets, contribute to compliance processes and meet contractual KPIs.
4. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams at once.
5. Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and community organisations.
6. High-level written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in program/project management tools, data systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Tertiary qualification in program/project management, community services, business administration, or a related field (highly desirable).
