Program Banco of Talents: Laboratory Assistant (Recife and Metropolitan Region)

Execute analytical techniques described in company procedures, as well as support activities (glassware cleaning, preparation of solutions and standards, segregation and disposal of residues), meeting deadlines, maintaining organization, and ensuring the safety and integrity of all.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Perform different analytical stages, including weighing and homogenization, for example;
• Orient assistants and interns;
• Communicate with the registration area (Login) regarding samples in processing;
• Conduct proficiency tests under Analyst supervision;
• Communicate any problems or material needs to Analysts or Coordination;
• Organize the laboratory for preparing materials (solutions, pads, culture media, standard solutions), temperature checks, solution and reagent validation, and equipment maintenance;
• Include information in the system (according to respective business line);
• File documents according to quality training;
• Schedule corrective and preventive equipment maintenance for Analysts and/or Coordination;
• Segregate and dispose of residues.
• Perform other related activities as needed or at the discretion of your superior.
