MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Company Openjobmetis Spa, Lecce branch, is looking for a mechanical designer to be inserted in the technical office. Position The selected resource will be responsible for the following activities: design of industrial thermal power plants; development of functional diagrams, construction drawings and material lists; thermal and fluid dynamics sizing of components; study of piping systems and equipment; calculation of heat transfer coefficients; creation of 3D models and simulations using specialized software; collaboration with other departments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in the field of thermal power plants and air conditioning systems. Knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks) and programming languages (Python, C++, MATLAB) is required. Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD is an asset. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects.
