Senior Mechanical Designer

Ali Professional Toscana, is seeking a senior mechanical designer for a metalworking company located in Lucca. Your main responsibilities will include: · Design and development of machines and components, including verification and sizing; · Creation of technical drawings 2D and 3D, line layouts, assembly tables, and exploded views for spare parts; · Management of bill of materials and support for production start-up through PDM and management software; · Collaboration with the design team to develop and implement new designs; · Development of prototypes and testing procedures; · Analysis of technical specifications and requirements; · Coordination with suppliers and manufacturers; · Participation in project meetings and reporting on progress; · Continuous improvement of processes and methods. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, 5+ years of experience in the design and development of machines and components, proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor), knowledge of PDM systems, and excellent communication skills.
