Our new Acoustics team at CIMA+ is looking for a professional or engineer in acoustics to support the Lévis office team and contribute to the development of environmental studies services. This position, based in one of our Quebec region offices, offers the opportunity to work on diverse mandates, ranging from evaluating road, railway, commercial, or industrial noise to optimizing sound barriers. According to your interests and expertise, you may also intervene in related fields such as architectural acoustics, occupational hygiene, industrial noise control, or electroacoustics. This position requires some flexibility, with occasional atypical hours according to mandate needs. Occasional travel within the province is also expected for site visits. Responsibilities:
- Assist senior team members and take charge of acoustic studies or mandates;
- Participate in training, coordination, and health and safety initiatives prior to site visits;
- Conduct site visits, research, fieldwork, data summaries, and document observations;
- Collect data, perform technical analyses on-site, model, post-process, interpret, and document results;
- Write and revise technical reports;
- Aid in standardizing or optimizing data collection and analysis methods.
