Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are seeking a Professional Teaching Fellow to join the Department of General Practice and Primary Health Care at University of Auckland. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of general practice in Aotearoa. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of the General Practice, Community Health & Rural Medicine (GPCHaRM) curriculum within the undergraduate medical programme. You’ll be based in Rotorua and work closely with our academic staff to develop and deliver teaching materials, assess student learning, and participate in departmental meetings and events. As a Professional Teaching Fellow, you will have the opportunity to engage in research and scholarly activities, collaborate with colleagues across the University, and contribute to the development of innovative educational initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the field.
