Paper Towns is seeking a meticulous and experienced Script Editor to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and a proven track record in editing scripts across various genres. This role is essential to ensure that all scripts we publish meet the highest standards of quality and coherence. Key Responsibilities: Script Editing: Review and edit scripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and overall readability. Structural Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on script structure, pacing, character development, and plot consistency. Collaboration: Work closely with writers, producers, and directors to ensure that all creative visions are aligned and executed effectively. Communication: Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including writers, producers, and directors, to facilitate open communication and collaboration. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field; 3+ years of experience as a script editor or writer; Strong understanding of storytelling principles and narrative structure; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
