Professional Counsellor

Seeking an empathetic, experienced Counsellor for a fulfilling opportunity in generalist counselling.

What you will be doing:

• Deliver focused, evidence-informed interventions that help clients build confidence and coping strategies
• Visit worksites to support teams a
• Provide counselling through in person sessions, video and telehealth
• Deliver training to employees across a range of workplaces

Skills and experience:

• A natural sense of care for others with strong empathy and emotional awareness
• Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCA
• A Level 7 counselling or related qualification and at least five years of post qualification experience in general counselling
• Familiarity with evidence based therapy approaches such as SFT, CBT or FACT
• Experience supporting clients through trauma and delivering psychological first aid
