Professional Civil Engineer/Technologist

We are seeking a Professional Civil Engineer/Technologist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in low-cost housing projects, and be registered as either a Professional Engineer (PrEng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (PrTech). The position will be based in the Grabouw/Villiersdorp area and will involve overseeing various civil engineering projects within this region. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee low-cost housing projects from inception to completion. Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies. Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using relevant software. Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Manage project budgets and timelines. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards. Prepare and submit project reports. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Registered as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (PrTech) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on low-cost housing projects. Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license.
