Professional Civil Engineer/Technologist

We are seeking a Professional Civil Engineer/Technologist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in low-cost housing projects, and be registered as either a Professional Engineer (PrEng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (PrTech). The position will be based in the Grabouw/Villiersdorp area and will involve overseeing various civil engineering projects within this region. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee low-cost housing projects; Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards; Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery; Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues; Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders; Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PrEng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (PrTech) registration; 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in low-cost housing projects; Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards; Excellent communication and project management skills.
