Professional Civil Engineer Technologist

The successful candidate will play a key role in road and water infrastructure projects, with the flexibility to work from either Durban or Johannesburg. Responsibilities: Lead and manage road and water infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for road and water infrastructure projects. Oversee the construction phase, including site inspections, contractor management, and quality control. Conduct feasibility studies and prepare project proposals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, architects, and contractors. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent. Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineering Technologist. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on road and water infrastructure projects. Proven experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and execution. Strong technical skills in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
