Professional Architect (Data Centres)

Company Description AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Professional Architect (Data Centres) to join our team in our South Africa offices. About Enterprise Capabilities Fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption, Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is AECOM’s primary vehicle for workshare. Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones, EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise, accelerate delivery of projects and services, and drive business growth. As a Professional Architect (Data Centres), you will be responsible for: • Designing and delivering data centre solutions that meet the needs of our clients; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data centre strategies; • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data centre design and delivery. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; • 5+ years of experience in data centre architecture; • Strong understanding of data centre design principles, including power, cooling, and security; • Experience with data centre management software and tools; • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
