The HEIG-VD is launching a call for applications for the position of Associate Professor in Applied Software Engineering in Biomedical and Health Domains Within the Department of Information Technologies and Communication (TIC), from its IICT Institute (Institute of Information and Communication Technologies), you will integrate a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and resolutely turned towards current industrial and societal challenges. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the fields of biomedical engineering, health informatics, and medical imaging, while fostering collaboration with industry partners and healthcare professionals. Your research activities will focus on the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software systems for biomedical applications, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to improve patient care and clinical decision-making. You will also be expected to supervise students and participate in teaching and training programs.
