1. What will you do?

As a Full-Time Professor Media and Digital Culture, you will join one of the leading educational institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the best universities in the world, recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international reach.

This position arises in response to the need to teach courses for the programs served by the Department of Media and Digital Culture (Communication, Technology and Music Production, and Journalism). Primarily, we seek an inspiring individual with professional and teaching experience in the field of communication and production (digital media, organizational communication, social media, public relations, advertising); and who has an ease of connection with young undergraduate students.

From this role, you will contribute to the training of highly competitive students, the strengthening of the academic staff, and the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey nationally and internationally, through academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.

1. How will you do it?

Your main challenges will be:

• Teaching courses for the Communication and/or Technology and Music Production program (maximum load equivalent to 4 groups per semester).
• Designing courses for the Communication and/or Technology and Music Production program.
• Continuous training in the discipline (provided by the institution).
• Coordinating consulting projects with partner organizations.
• Participating in strategic institutional projects.
• Participating in institutional research projects.
• Participating in institutional continuing education projects.
• Networking with organizations in the field of communication and media.
• Participating in the certification processes for programs administered by the Department of Media and Digital Culture.
• Reporting to the Associate Director of the Department of Media and Digital Culture.

1. What are we looking for?

• A Doctorate in: Communication, Digital/Multimedia Media, Film/Video/Television or Photographic Arts, Arts, Information Sciences, Public Relations, Strategic Communication and Marketing, Organizational Communication, or similar.
• Previous teaching experience or a distinguished professional career.
• Proof of English proficiency at C1 level, 600 TOEFL points, or equivalent.
• Ability to manage groups effectively, fostering a participatory and disciplined learning environment.
• Enjoy teamwork, be proactive, possess humanistic values, be passionate about the use of new technologies, and demonstrate tolerance for change.
