Language Professor

Objective of the Position Impart classes of foreign languages at the preparatory level, promoting the development of communicative, intercultural, and academic competencies of students, aligned with the educational model of Tecnológico de Monterrey and international standards for teaching languages. Functions and Responsibilities Plan and impart language classes according to the established academic program. Design didactic activities that foster auditory comprehension, expression, reading, and writing skills in the target language. Develop and implement assessment tools and methods to evaluate student learning outcomes. Collaborate with other departments to integrate language instruction into the curriculum. Provide individualized support and feedback to students to ensure their academic success. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of language programs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and social justice. Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, students, and community partners to promote the program's goals and objectives. Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes to inform instruction and program improvement. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language teaching and learning. Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
