To strengthen our product management team, we are currently looking for a Product Manager – PC Hardware (m/f/d). In this role, you will bring a broad understanding of PC configurations and component ecosystems and actively develop this area within our product management. You are the specialist for the interaction of parts, always with an eye on the performance of the overall system.

As a Product Manager – PC Hardware (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the product range, processes, and supplier relationships in your product groups, while also applying your systems understanding to continuously improve our configuration offering.
The focus is on product management – supplemented by purchasing-related tasks such as negotiations and pricing.

Your daily to-dos primarily include the following activities:

• You will take over the assortment strategy for PC components – from product selection and technical validation to compatibility checks and the further development of the overall portfolio
• You bring a holistic understanding of PC configurations; you don't think in individual parts, but recognize how components interact within the system and use this knowledge to specifically develop our configuration offering further
• You will take over vendor management for your product groups and act as the main internal contact person for manufacturers and distributors on all technical and commercial issues
• You will conduct supplier negotiations on purchasing conditions, framework agreements, discount scales, and special promotions, thus continuously optimizing our margins and availability
• You will technically assess new products based on compatibility, performance, and build quality
• You will keep an eye on market, trend, and competitor developments and derive assortment and pricing decisions from them
• You will maintain and manage the articles in your product groups, including technical details, in our ERP system and online shop
• You will actively drive the further development of our product management processes – from forecasting and reporting to cross-departmental collaboration with purchasing, production, and service
• You will be in close contact with other teams from purchasing, production, and service to clarify assortment and availability issues at an early stage

• You have completed vocational training or a degree with a commercial or technical focus (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science) or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in product management, category management, or purchasing, ideally in the area of PC hardware, consumer electronics, or gaming
• You have a broad technical understanding of PC configurations and component ecosystems – you understand how parts work together and recognize where optimization potential lies
• You have experience in supplier negotiations and negotiate confidently and goal-orientedly without losing sight of the technical perspective
• You think in a process-oriented manner, contribute your own ideas for optimizing workflows, and independently drive their implementation
• You are also passionate about PC hardware, software, and gaming in your private life and are constantly up-to-date on trends and new products
• Strong communication skills and an independent, structured way of working are among your strengths
• Fluent German and good English skills
