We are looking for a product manager ophthalmology (cataract surgery) (m/w/d) for our client, a leading global company in the field of eye care with approximately 26,000 employees in over 70 countries and an annual turnover of around $10 billion USD. The position is located at the firm's headquarters in the Rhein-Main region.

Aufgaben

• Development of product and marketing strategies for devices and consumables in ophthalmic surgery.
• Development and implementation of brand strategy and go-to-market initiatives in line with the requirements of the international marketing organization and market demands in the DACH region.
• Conducting market and competitive analyses / generating customer and market insights to identify growth potential.
• Planning and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional measures to increase market share and revenue.
• Preparation of annual marketing and budget plans.
• Support for sales through joint customer visits and KOL management (travel component up to 20%).
• Cross-functional collaboration with local management, global marketing, sales, finance, and medical.
• Participation in trade shows and congresses in the DACH region.
• Direct reporting to the Marketing Director Surgical DACH.

Qualifikation

• At least 2 years of professional experience in product management in medical technology.
• Prior knowledge in ophthalmology / surgery or medical devices is preferred.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Safe appearance when dealing with different internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical affinity.
• Very good English skills (international cooperation / internal reporting on English).
• Willingness to travel occasionally with overnight stays.
