For our product management, we are looking for an experienced product manager (m/w/d) with strong understanding of machining processes and 2.5D, 3-axis, and 5-axis processing.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Customer Needs Analysis and Market Validation:
  Identification, prioritization, and validation of customer requirements, market potential, and technological opportunities in the field of 2.5D-, 3-axis-, and 5-axis processing
• Product Life Cycle Management:
  Accompaniment of product development from problem definition and discovery to concept development until successful market introduction of new functions and solutions
• Product Strategy and Prioritization:
  Evaluation of requirements regarding customer benefit, technical feasibility, and strategic relevance as well as active shaping of the product strategy
• Validation and Risk Management:
  Assurance of new concepts and solutions through customer feedback, practice tests, and structured risk analyses
• Stakeholder and Interface Management:
  Collaboration with development, QA, application technology, support, marketing, and sales to ensure consistent and successful product development
• Product Integration and Goal Responsibility:
  Assurance of consistent integration of new functions regarding user experience, product strategy, and hyperMILL concept as well as responsibility for achieving defined product goals and sustainable improvement of customer benefit

Your Profile

• Fundamental CAM and Machining Expertise:
  In-depth knowledge in machining as well as fundamental understanding of CAM processes, CNC machines, controls, tools, and manufacturing workflows
• Experience in Product Management:
  Several years of professional experience in CAM-, machining- or product management-related fields as well as experience in developing, validating, and introducing technical product solutions
• Analytical and Structured Work Style:
  Sovereign evaluation of requirements, risks, and priorities as well as ability to present complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
• Communication and Moderation Strength:
  Safe acting in exchange with customers as well as interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Customer Orientation and Decision-Making Competence:
  Strong quality awareness, strategic thinking, and fundamental decision-making even under uncertain framework conditions
• Methods and Software Competence:
  Experience with product discovery methods, prioritization techniques, use-case modeling, Microsoft 365, and at least one CAM system as well as ideal knowledge of agile product development methods, pilot projects, and beta tests
• Linguistic Competence:
  Very good German and English language skills for goal-oriented communication of technical content
