Product Manager (m/w/d)

The WEAT is a specialist for cashless payment transactions in the mobility sector. The product portfolio includes cashless payment transactions with all usual debit and credit cards, as well as special features of the fueling business and increasingly also electric mobility, such as the authorization of fleet and corporate cards and goods group transmission. Since its founding, WEAT has offered additional, industry-specific services for tank station management that adapt to the latest market demands. Through the WEAT interface, our customers receive information on sales volumes, peer data, and revenues, and in the future also charging point information. Additionally, the market transparency office is informed, and prices can be sent to individual or entire networks.

Aufgaben

• Development and maintenance of the product strategy for POS terminals, mobile payment solutions, and payment services in the EV charging environment
• Deduction of a clear product roadmap based on market trends, regulatory requirements (e.g. ZAG, DORA, PCI DSS, DK specifications) and customer needs
• Economic analyses, business cases, and pricing models
• End-to-End responsibility for product development processes (from discovery to conception to rollout)
• Prioritization and refinement in the Product Backlog
• BUILDING and maintenance of partnerships with terminal manufacturers, cash register manufacturers, PSPs, acquirers, EV charging backends, wallet providers, and mobility service providers

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of experience in product management
• Technical understanding for APIs, devices, and backend systems
• Clear ownership mentality & structured thinking
• Excellent communication skills in dealing with internal stakeholders, manufacturers, acquirers, and partners
• Very good German and English language skills
• Experience in dealing with regulatory requirements is desirable
